Former GOP congressman Courter had to resign last July as McCain co-chair when this author revealed a $1.3 million FCC fine against his firm, IDT. Now he is on his way out of IDT also. The firm itself may be delisted from the New York stock exchange.

IDT payments went to a shell company in the Turks & Caicos instead of to a government account in Haiti. IDT paid 8.75 cents per minute instead of 23. According to the shell company's lawyer Adrian Corr, Aristide got 3 cents of that.
