The Haiti Democracy Project honors the memory of this great Haitian by presenting forty-four of his eloquent prophecies featured on our website since 2000. "How can there be governance without justice?" he asked in 2005, and the question remains as poignant today. "Never falter in the struggle for a state of law," he urged in 2004. "In the midst of disaster, we must rise as one, abandon idols and old-think, and demand a state built upon truth and law."
The articles are presented most recent first. Many are exclusive English translations by the Haiti Democracy Project. Altogether, it may be the largest on-line trove of his precious work. |
